INITIAL MESSAGES - LINKEDIN (CHANGE SCHOOL NAME)
Hi NAME! I'm looking to fill some positions with virtual & in person avail. We love working with recent SCHOOL students and alum & your profile looked impressive. We have flexible schedules with a $22 base-appt pay. I’m not sure what your work situation is, but are you interested in more info?
INTERESTED IN WORK
WANTS TO LEARN MORE/WHAT'S THE JOB:
Great! So it's a little long to explain over text but it’s entry level sales and customer service. We're part of the Legacy Division of Vector. Basically what someone would get paid to do is talk with customers, present products, answer questions, and help them place orders. Pretty simple stuff, and it's a great resumé builder. No experience is required because we have great training. Our team can work both in person and virtually, most do a combo of both!
The schedules are very flexible, so it's great for people working around school, sports, or other jobs. My favorite part of our program is that there's a lot of room for growth. There are advancement opportunities, bonuses, scholarship and internship credit opportunities, and a couple other cool programs.

PART 2: OPTION 1: Application and Urgency
Here is a link where you can get more info and request an interview in less than a minute: www.StudentWorkJersey.com :) Let me know if you have any questions or anything!
Just a heads up though...the positions we have are on a first applied first considered basis so if you have a sec, I would submit an application asap. :) Once you do, we will reach out to you with more info. Good luck!
PART 2: OPTION 2: Urgency Message to Send Right After Link
We're actually running videochat interviews that start with info sessions to cover all the details (way more than I could over text haha). We'll walk through specifics and you’ll be able to ask any questions you have before making any decisions on whether or not it might be a fit! If it is, then the info session will finish with a one on one interview. Could I grab your phone number so that I can help you set that up?
Get phone number! -> talk to them and schedule them MAKE SURE TO DO THEIR POST

IF YOU CONNECTED, BUT THEY DIDN'T RESPOND TO YOUR INVITATION MESSAGE
Great to connect with you! Did you see my last message? My office has a work program for current and recent students - we offer immediate flexible work around school and other jobs. What’s pretty cool is that we were just ranked by USA Today as the #12 best company to work for. There’s a lot of room for growth with us, since opportunities for internships are available as well as career positions after college. The work is flexible, and we offer a starting base pay rate of $22.00. We are looking to build the team with people who are hard working and positive! I know not everyone checks their LinkedIn messages often, but our website is www.StudentWorkJersey.com :) You can request an interview there in less than a minute, are there any questions I could answer for you?
FOLLOW UP IF STILL NO REPLY AFTER 48 HOURS
Hey, just following up to see if you saw my message?
APPLIED / RECEIVED NUMBER, BUT DIDN'T SCHEDULE AN INTERVIEW
Hey! I was looking and saw you had not yet requested an interview so I wanted to reach out and see if you had any questions I may be able to answer?
OTHER QUESTIONS
If the q is basic, use general wmi response above^
“Where are you guys located?”
We have over 300 offices nationwide. However, our division headquarters is in Livingston, NJ. All of our team members have the option to interview virtually, and work remotely (from home or dorm) after they finish training. Did you want me to send you a link so you can get more info and apply?
What are the hours / schedule?
The hours are super flexible and easy to work around other obligations. We work with a lot of students around their classes, so the schedule really depends on the applicant’s schedule. Did you want me to send you a link so that you or your friends can apply?
“I’ll let my friends know” (but they don’t show interest in applying)
Thank you!! Btw what do you have planned for this semester? Idk if you’re a student but all of our students have a chance at different scholarships as well as internship experience to put on their resume.
(Then I send the next message as a back to back message) ~ If you want, you can check out the link too and see if you like it. www.StudentWorkJersey.com
“What’s the company name/product?”
The company is Vector which is the marketing and sales branch for Cutco. We are the local New Jersey branch. We have been around since 1949. It's a bunch of stuff for the kitchen like pots and pans, flatware and kitchen knives. The majority of our customers are moms, dads, and families lol. They love the stuff. We are looking to fill several entry level sales/customer service positions. It is a great opportunity for students to build their resume with real world experience. Did you want me to send you a link so that you or your friends can apply?
What is the pay?
Great question. The starting pay is $22.00 base-appt with the opportunity to earn more based on performance (basically rewarding work ethic). We cover the full details of pay during the interview process though. We cover the full details of pay during the interview process though. Did you want me to send you a link so that you or your friends can apply?
“What’s the scholarship/internship”
The scholarship is based on performance with the company. The internships obviously vary college to college, but our training is college accredited and we have partnerships with most schools. My manager told me more about it in the interview! Did you want me to send you a link so that you or your friends can apply?
“I already have a job.” OR "I'm too busy"
That’s cool. The schedules are really flexible and we have a lot of people that work around school or other jobs. Here’s the link to the application. Check it out if you need more hours at any point this year. www.StudentWorkJersey.com
Not Interested
No problem, let me know if things change or if you know anyone looking for work feel free to let me know. We do also have a social media position available. Our social media marketing assistants help schedule potential applicants for interviews and help us advertise/brand ourselves on social media. It’s $15/hour with paid training and flexible, only about 5-10 hours a week. Here's the link to the application if that position interests you more :) www.StudentWorkJersey.com/receptionist
Is this a scam/pyramid scheme/MLM (if they continue to argue, DON'T respond. Your energy is worth more than that)
USA Today wouldn't award us as the #12 best company to work for in the United States if that were the case. I wouldn't waste your time. There are no start-up costs, recruiting plays no part of our pay-program, and we have a guaranteed pay regardless of sales. In the interview we literally go through the position in full detail and you would be able to get a really good gauge for if it is a good fit for you. The worst case is you spend 30 minutes, find out more about an opportunity and get some interview experience. Don’t let negative untrue things you hear prevent you from learning the right information in the interview.
